Labeling (Reduced) Structures: When VPs Are Sentences

چکیده
In this article, we analyze five reduced structures in Italian that display morphological agreement between their past participle and internal argument. Three of the have full illocutionary force despite lacking middle field left periphery. We explain fact (and differences with two remaining participial structures) by extending to object cases Chomsky’s (2019) hypothesis clauses are exocentric but can be labeled a mechanism feature sharing. This goes against all interpreted as must elliptical.

When Structures Are Almost Surely Connected
Let An denote the number of objects of some type of “size” n, and let Cn denote the number of these objects which are connected. It is often the case that there is a relation between a generating function of the Cn’s and a generating function of the An’s. Wright showed that if limn→∞Cn/An = 1, then the radius of convergence of these generating functions must be zero. In this paper we prove that...

This paper, based on the Viterbi algorithm, selects the most likely combination of different wording from a variety of scenarios. In this regard, the Bi-gram and Unigram tags of each word, based on the letters forming the words, as well as the bigram and unigram labels After the breakdown into the composition or moment of transition from the decomposition to the combination obtained from th...
متن کاملReduced Products, Horn Sentences, and Decision Problems
We shall consider a first order language with equality, and the corresponding structures. Reduced products {powers) and Horn sentences are defined in [4, pp. 199, 211]. An Vn sentence is a prenex sentence whose prefix consists of a block of universal quantifiers, followed by a block of existential quantifiers, followed by another block of universal quantifiers, and so on n times; an sentences a...
متن کاملRepresenting Defaults as Sentences with Reduced Priority
We distinguish between two ways of thinking about defaults. The rst way, in which defaults augment known premises by`strengthening' the underlying logic, is the traditional approach taken by most existing formalisms. In the second way, defaults are represented in the set of premises, but obtain their default status by having a reduced priority relative to the known premises. In this paper we: 1...
متن کاملGoing beyond sentences when applying tree kernels
We go beyond the level of individual sentences applying parse tree kernels to paragraphs. We build a set of extended trees for a paragraph of text from the individual parse trees for sentences and learn short texts such as search results and social profile postings to take advantage of additional discourse-related information. Extension is based on coreferences and rhetoric structure relations ...
